Challenge #139 - "Shopping Spree"

Good Morning Crafters, wow its really cold here in the United Kingdom and no doubt a lot of you are also in the same boat, I wish I could afford to move to a warmer climate in the winter but I suppose thats just my wish not sure if the rest of you feel the same. Anyway this weeks Challenge is going to be rather a difficult one "Shopping Spree" and unfortunately if I had given it a bit more thought perhaps its a theme I would not have chosen but I hope you will prove me wrong and go with it and show us just what you can come up with.
Last weeks Challenge "Christmas is Coming" was certainly very popular we had over a 150 entries and I know that Marie is always delighted when the theme goes down so well and it sure did and the lucky person who was chosen by Random Org is :-

Well done Avril and congratulations we now have a quicker method
of collecting your prize and that is by clicking on the "Contact Tab" at the
Top on the Tabs Bar it will give you a form to fill up with your choice
of  3 Digis and can you make sure you put Challenge #138 in the subject bar
and please also dont forget to add your email address to make it easier
for Veronica to sort out your images and get them to you quickly.

As always our very generous sponsors are Veronica and Pedro of The Paper Shelter and they are offering a fabulous prize of $30.

http://www.thepapershelter.com/

But as I always say that this comes with the rule that you must have used one of their products on your card and that could be a Image, paper or printable, and believe me when I tell you they are stunning and of very good value, and they always have lots of special offers on the new images which are coming on line in their library weekly. You will find their website The Paper Shelter here so do please pay them a visit and browse and hopefully buy something you really like.
And now for the part of the Challenge I love the best, showing you what my Design Team have created for you, but firstly I have some very sad news Janie has had to leave due to personnal problems so Angela has already taken her place on the Design Team, and because Louise left a couple of weeks ago and that Debs and Lorraine are just standing in as Guest Designers until January, it was necessary to find another Team member to join us then and I have been lucky enough to have Anne who has agreed to join us, and even better for this week she is standing in for Judith who was unable to get her card done due to several problems that didnt allow her enough time to get her card done. So I want you to welcome both Angela and Anne to my Design Team, and even though Anne wont officially start till the New Year she will no doubt take part in any of the remaining Challenges left till then, and in a fortnights time we have a very special one so do come back for the 4th December to see what we have in store for you as its very exciting and worth taking part in it.

Wow arnt they just stunning, beautiful cards girls and Im blown away with your creativity to get so many differences in your designs and with just one of the images I do think you have done a wonderful job on such a difficult theme and Im so glad you are on my Team, so thank you so much. I am sure it will have given you all lots of inspiration to take part in this weeks "Shopping Spree" Challenges.

Challenge #137 - "For Someone Special"

Good Morning All, I hope you are all ready for this weeks "For Someone Special" Challenge so you can really get thinking of that special person you want to sent this card to, for me it was a very dear friend. And I bet all those girls that went to the NEC last week enjoyed themselves I know I did and spent a lot more than I should have done, or I should say it went on hubbys credit card and I was shocked (as much as he was) at just how much it was.
Anyway before I go any further I am sure you will want to know who won last weeks "Winter Fun" Challenge, unfortunately a lot of the entries were void as you did not stick to the rules which were that you must use a image which showed something you take part in the Winter, a sport is probably the most popular thing to choose but some on you just added a Snowmen which does not exactly show the image doing anything, sorry about that. But the person who was picked by Random Org: is and who stuck to the rules is:-

but this is providing you have used one of their products on your card and that could be a image, papers or printables and you will find them here on their website The Paper Shelter. And if you are worried about the price believe when I say they are of fabulous value against any currency.
This week I have lost another of my Design Team for a couple of months and that is Carol, she is taking a couple of months out and weve been lucky enough to get Debs back again to stand in as a Guest Designer for her during this time, so welcome back and I hope you will give her your love by paying a visit to her blog and leaving her a some. We also have our dear Lorraine as well standing in as a Guest Designer and come the New Year we have a brand new member joining us and that is Angela, she may in the meantime pop up ocassionally in either team so please do give her a rousing hello when you do. Also poor Janie is going to be late joining us this week, shes unfortunately deleted all her work, so lets hope she finds her card soon. And now for the best part of the Design Teams Job showing you what stunning cards the girls have created for you.

Beautiful cards girls and thank you so much for all your hard work, I really do appreciate how much you do for the Team, and I am sure you will agree with me that they give you plenty of inspiration to take part in this weeks "For Someone Special" Challenge.

Challenge #136 Winter fun!

Hello and welcome to challenge number 136 of the Paper Shelter. How time flies when you have fun, doesn't it? There was some smashing creations for the A-team's Halloween challenge last week and we will soon be finding out who is the lucky winner of that, but first our new theme.

Winterfun!

We want to see some kind of winter activity on your creations this week, but showing off a Santa or  reindeer for example won't fit the theme.
It need to be something you do during the winter, ok? Skating, skiing, playing icehockey, drinking hot
chocolate with your friends, playing in the snow etc. If your creation doesn't follow the theme, I am sorry but  it will be deleted,
 just as the rules says.

And now for our winner of the week. Mr Random has made his choice and this week our lucky winner is Number 10, Rhonda Miller
